Description: Whey is a component of cow's milk and is a good source of branched-chain amino acids, which are required for the maintenance and the building of muscle mass. Whey protein has also been shown to increase the body's levels of glutathione, a very important antioxidant.

Indications:

  • Athlete's support
  • Meal replacement

Precautions: People with kidney or liver disease should check with their physicians before supplementing whey protein.
