Description: Glutathione is a protein made up of the amino acids glycine, cysteine, and glutamic acid. It is one of the most important antioxidants and plays a key role in detoxification. There is concern whether oral glutathione supplements actually are effectively absorbed and utilized in the body. Nutrition-oriented doctors report good results with the intravenous form of glutathione. It is known that vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid, whey protein, and other nutrients increase the blood levels of ­ glutathione.

Indications:

  • Antioxidant
  • Cancer
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Emphysema (use the aerosol form)
  • Infertility (male)
  • Parkinson's disease

Precautions: No side effects have been reported.
