Description: Creatine is a naturally occurring substance in the body and in foods, which is made up of three amino acids-arginine, glycine, and methionine. Creatine is used by the body's muscle cells to create energy and maintain muscle mass.

Indications:

  • Athletic support
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Maintaining muscle mass in seniors

Precautions: Diarrhea and muscle cramping are the most common side effects. People with liver or kidney disease should check with their doctors before using creatine.

Dosage: Take 2 to 5 grams daily.
