Description: Beta glucan refers to a type of polysaccharide that is extracted from the cell walls of medicinal mushrooms, oats, barley, and baker's yeast. The structure and the activity of various beta glucans differ, depending on the source.

Indications:

  • Blood sugar balance
  • High cholesterol
  • Immune support

Precautions: Immune-enhancing beta glucan products should be avoided by people who are on immunosuppressant medications.
