Description: Alanine is a nonessential amino acid that helps to build protein. It is used as a nutritional supplement to reduce the symptoms of prostate enlargement.

Indications: Prostate enlargement

Precautions: People with liver or kidney disease should not supplement amino acids unless under the direction of a health-care professional.
